)(Posting.... But I am have a softball game in like a half hour, so I can't promise anything.... BTW, doesn't anyone wanna... ya no... find the orbish? I won't post with Riyan 'cause.... 'cause. So if anyone feels like it!)(
Feeling the slight pressure on his neck, Josh reached up and slowly slid his hands along the smooth fur. After all his months of searching, he could feel it, feel the orb taunting him. It had desided to show its self, not during the past weeks that he had been searching, but now. He ignored the urge to run from the room and go get it himself, knowing that Kelly too would know of its presence. Her and her team would be there soon enough, and so would his. As Ulysses's comment reached his ears, he gave a slight chuckle.
Well you aren't far off with some of the places I've been.
He reached up and gave the cat one final brush-over with his hand before motioning for her to jump off. He pushed him self to his feet, survaying his team. He new that some training should be done first, but there was no time.
What do you all say about going for a little... walk.
Even as he spoke, he turned and strode towards the door, turning towards the training grounds.
)(YEAH! Sucks! But I REALLY GTG now!)(

Cat paused, stiffening slightly. She felt a very strong presence and knew what it must be. She almost missed his signal to jump off, but quickly did so. Quick as a flash she transformed back into the girl again, her breath a little short. She looked over at Josh, he looked so much different. She understood what he meant when he said walk. She paused, no idea even where to begin her search...
She supposed that the best would be to do a general fly by to see where the pull was the strongest, and then go in with the senses to find it specifically. She stood and kissed Josh lightly. I'll catch up with you later. She smirked and winked slightly before walking out the door, sitting on the steps she slowly concentrated, her hawk form was not too difficult, her human form shrunk as her bones shifted, beak grew and soon her bones were hollow. She ruffled her feathers slightly and took off, flying up to the best thermals and using them to stay afloat so that she could use her hawk eyes to search the ground as her powers searched for the strongest pull.
The hawk flew over the two temples, past the beach and the train stations. She continued, over the city silently, she felt the pull was stronger here, she cursed silently to herself, it was always so much harder for her in the city, her forms were so much more out of place. She swooped down lower so that she could now see the different districts. Government.... No. Entertainment.... No. Business.... No. Land.... No. Housing.... No. She paused as she came to the other tiny areas that couldn't be classified. She swooped down.

It was perplexing to see 'Catwoman' metamorphically transform herself seamlessly into various classes of animals. For Recon and Surveillance? Possibly. What else could she be and just how many animals can she transform into? In either case, his position was rapidly becomming redundant and now he was faced with one of his former team-mates to whom no one here might've known.
Their gazes met and his light-hearted chuckle at Josh's equally reciprocating words hid the current fear of demotion from this place. He seemed somewhat older and more confident in his stride than he was when they were 'on the field'. Mind you, Ulysses was probably in his late teens and fresh out of whatever academy he was subjcted to. It was a good sign that Josh didn't lose his sense of humour either. And it was good to be with familiar faces, even if he would love the idea of mingling with new blood. Well...he's new too...in relation to all of this.
As he left towards the training grounds, Ulysses casually followed with a few boxes of Pocky Chocolates. He quickly tossed a few at 'Del' and asked cordially if he wanted to join. "Coppertop might need a training partner, you know."

Delos watched silently, surprised somewhat as he began to fully realise that the others were similar to himself. At least a little. This place was filled with unspoken phrases, hidden and double meanings, everyone had an agenda. His eyes followed the cat as it abruptly transformed into a young, rather beautiful girl. Even in her human form there were still traits of a feline nature. She moved with the fluidity and assured grace of a hunter, her steps making no sound as she walked across the wooden floors of the common room. It seemed that something important was going down with the Dark’s tonight, of what it was Delos could only guess an orb was related somehow. Still too newly awoken to be able to have a handle, or any particular strength in his powers yet he could not sense the presence of one. For now he was merely content trying to stop his disbelief at a cat transforming into who he guessed was Josh’s second in command.
Both Josh and the girl had left and only Delos and Ulysses remained behind, although the former was already moving towards the exit. Remaining silent at the suggestion of training he only nodded, once and ever so slightly to indicate he had even heard what had been said. His hands automatically flying out to catch the sugared snacks, Delos’ eyes never once left Ulysses as he to disappeared from view.
Now alone Delos allowed a small sigh to escape him, he hadn’t realised that he’d tensed up slightly ever since he had entered the temple. Small shadowlike fingers of doubt and nervousness caressed his mind, feeding of his inability to tap into his powers, and therefore questionable usefulness in any form of combat with the Lights. Forcing himself to relax he focused inward and felt his body flood with warmth as he battled back his insecurities, forcing them down into the deepest recesses of his mind. There would be plenty of time to deal with whatever weaknesses he had once the night was over, and right now it was only beginning. Silence lay heavy in the dark room as the teenager finally moved towards the exit, following the others, his face void of emotion.
